Using Écosystème Togo — a visitor's guide
How to find your way around Togo's innovation ecosystem directory. No account needed — everything here is free to browse.
Écosystème Togo brings the country's innovation ecosystem together in one place: the organisations (companies and startups, investors, business-support providers, and ecosystem builders), the events and calls for applications, and a library of reports and research. This short guide shows you how to find what you're looking for.
Choosing your language
The whole site is available in English and French. Use the EN / FR button in the top-right corner to switch — your choice is remembered on your device for next time. Descriptions and tags appear in your language wherever a translation has been provided, and otherwise in the original text, so you always see the full content.

The menu at the top of every page is your map:

On a phone, the menu is behind the ☰ button in the top-right. Every page has the menu, so you're never more than one click from anywhere.
The home page (Overview)
The home page gives you the lay of the land:
- a short overview of the ecosystem and an interactive map of Togo's regions — hover or tap a region to see how many organisations are based there;
- highlights — featured reports and upcoming events;
- quick links into the directory and the other sections.
It's the best place to start if you're not sure what you're looking for yet.
Finding organisations (Directories)
Open Directories from the menu to reach the full list of organisations. Two tools help you get to the right one:
- Search — type any part of an organisation's name in the search box; the list narrows as you type.
- Filters — narrow the list by Type (Companies/startups, Investors, BDSP, or Ecosystem builders) and by Region of Togo. Filters combine, so you can ask, for example, for every Investor based in the Maritime region.
Worked example — "show me the fintech investors." Open Directories, set the Type filter to Investors, and type
finin the search box. You'll see the investors whose name or focus matches. Click any card to open its full profile.
An organisation's profile
Click any organisation — from the directory or the home page — to open its profile. Depending on how much information is available, you may see up to three tabs:
- Profile — the description, key facts (type, founding year, headquarters, number of employees…), the sectors and technologies it works in, and contact details such as its website and email.
- Impact — the impact areas it focuses on and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) it contributes to.
- Financing — any recorded investment rounds: amounts, stage, and the investors involved.
Use the share button on a profile (or just copy the web address) to send a colleague straight to that organisation.
Events & calls for applications
Two menu items cover what's happening:
- Events lists conferences, workshops, webinars and other gatherings, split into upcoming and past so you can see what's next at a glance.
- Calls lists open calls for applications — for funding, programmes, competitions and the like. Each shows its deadline clearly.
Open any event or call to read the full details and follow the register or apply link.
Worked example — "is there anything I can apply to?" Open Calls. Each card shows a deadline; open one that fits and use its apply link to go straight to the application.
Reports & research (Insights & Research)
Insights & Research is the library of publications and resources about the ecosystem. Browse the cards — the most prominent one at the top is the featured report — open any of them to read a summary, and use the download or request access link to reach the full document.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account? No. The entire site — every organisation, event, call and report — is public and free to browse. Accounts are only for the team that maintains the directory.
How do I read the site in French (or English)? Use the EN / FR button at the top right. The site remembers your choice.
Why is some text in English on the French site (or the other way round)? Not every entry has been translated yet. When a French version isn't available, the site shows the original text rather than leaving a blank — so you never miss anything.
How do I find a specific organisation? Open Directories and type part of its name in the search box, or narrow the list with the Type and Region filters.
How do I find investors (or companies, BDSP, ecosystem builders)? Open Directories and set the Type filter to the one you want.
Where are the calls for applications and their deadlines? Under Calls — each one shows its deadline, and opening it gives you the apply link.
How do I share a page with a colleague? Copy the web address from your browser, or use the share button on an organisation's profile — the link opens straight to that page.
An organisation's details look out of date. Who do I tell? The directory is maintained by the Écosystème Togo team — let them know, or contact the organisation directly using the details on its profile.
Is my browsing tracked, or do I need to sign in? No sign-in, and nothing you do here requires an account. You're simply reading a public directory.
